Job Purpose:

Responsible for the planning and implementation of the Arab-American fundraising and marketing efforts at ALSAC/St. Jude. This includes material development, meeting planning and execution, collaborating with the development and marketing divisions, long range strategic planning, tactical planning and budgeting. Works closely with the Executive Director of Multicultural Marketing and Business Development to ensure all strategies and tactics are aligned with the organization’s strategic plan as well as the development marketing plans.
  • Leverage inside to develop the Arab-American fundraising and marketing vision and plans, ultimately driving increased Arab-American donors.
  • Provide keen insight into the Arab-American donors and have a strong understanding of the significant diversity within the Arab-American demographic.
  • Effectively translate research and analysis into executive summaries and detailed project recommendations for changes and improvements to grow donations within the identified markets.
  • Evaluate and recommend potential partners in the Arab-American marketplace.

  • Requires thorough knowledge of fundraising and general management methods within non-profit;
  • Speak and write in a clear, understandable manner for internal/external relations in both Arabic and English languages;
  • Face to face interaction with event volunteers/sponsors;
  • Understands extremely complex verbal or written instructions;
  • Knowledge ordinarily acquired through Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of fundraising, sales, marketing and/or related experience, including 2 years previous experience through levels of progressive management responsibility i.e. supervision, budgeting, strategic planning, organizational development, cost control, manpower allocation, etc. ;
  • Possesses excellent diplomacy skills.
  • Ability to speak Arabic; preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
